VP leaves for Egypt

Maldivian Vice President Ahmed Adeeb left for Egypt on an official trip on Wednesday.

President’s Office said that VP Adeeb was travelling to Egypt to attend the opening ceremony of Egypt’s new Suez Canal.

It is the first official trip the newly appointed VP has embarked on since he was handpicked by President Abdulla Yameen to serve as his Vice President to replace former VP, Mohamed Jameel.
