Forklift loses balance and crashes

A forklift that had been unloading iron onto a lorry in the harbor area lost its balance and crashed onto the ground Tuesday morning.

An eyewitness informed Sun Online that the incident took place at around 10:25 am when the forklift crashes onto the ground after it lost its balance while unloading iron onto a lorry from a cement warehouse located in the harbor area.

Neither the driver no anyone else was injured during this incident which took place in front of Nalahiya Warehouse.

“It lost its balance while lifting iron. The forklift fell with its driver. Nothing happened to him but it was very dangerous what happened to him,” said the eyewitness.

Work is being done on lifting the forklift at the moment.
