IGMH: Woman who stabbed herself in the stomach is stable after surgery

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has said that the woman who stabbed herself in the stomach after a domestic dispute is in stable condition after the surgery.

Media Official of IGMH, Zeenath Ali Habeeb told Sun Media today that she is in good condition. And she said that the family has requested not to share any other information.

“It (the stab wound) was repaired at the surgery.” Zeenath said.

Sources say that the woman who stabbed herself, who works at a high ranking position at a Preschool in Malé, did so after a dispute with her spouse.
