Dhiraagu to host cultural parade today

Dhiraagu has decided to hold a cultural parade today.

Assistant Manager of Public Relations at Dhiraagu, Imjaadh Jaleel told Sun Media today that at the cultural parade starting today at 4 p.m. infront of the Social Center, 250 participants would be displaying different cultural activities.

“This 250 people include about 50 patrons and an 80 foot fish, so “Bodu Mas beynun” (Cultural display of fishing) would be there. And also female boduberu and male boduberu and “Maafathi” and Langirijehun” would be displayed.” Imjaadh said.

Dhiraagu’s “50th Independence Eid Fest” is scheduled to start at the Social Center and go down Majeedhee Magu and end at the Raalhugandu area.
