The number of dengue fever cases reported from across the country is still increasing, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has said.
The number of cases reported jumped to 151 last week, from 50 the week before.
The number of cases reported so far this week is 54.
Worst affect regions excluding Malé are Alifu Dhaalu and Baa Atolls. Nine cases have been reported from each atoll this month.
The number of cases reported from Malé this month is 66.
Last week, Minister of Health Iruthisham Adam said that efforts are ongoing and will continue to clean and fog Malé and other affected islands, to control mosquitoes.
The total number of cases reported this year is 599, of which 260 are from Malé and 330 are from other islands.
