Environment Ministry assigned to Dr. Muiz

President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom has assigned the operations and responsibilities of the Environment Ministry to the Minister of Housing, Dr. Muiz.

A tweet from the Housing Ministry today said that the Housing Minister was charged with the Environment Ministry when Minister Thoriq left the country.

Minister @MMuizzu has been handed over the responsibilities of @EnvGovMv until Minister Thoriq Ibrahim returns back from abroad.

There is no word as to why Minister Thoriq left the country.
