Siyaam asks not to do anything that would disrupt the peace of the country

Leader of MDA and the MP for the Meedhoo constituency, Ahmed Siyaam Mohamed has asked not to do anything that would disrupt the peace of the country.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the STO pharmacy in D. Rinboodhoo, Siyaam said that one of the most important things to do for the development and advancement of the country is to work to maintain the peace of the country.

“All over the world now we see killing children and destruction of people’s homes without any discipline or ethics and things like that. We have to learn from it and be united. If we don’t unite, we might fall into the same state as some countries.” Siyaam said.

The MDA Leader said that while development to the country can be achieved through unity, the difference of political view may have a negative effect to the country. He requested not to do anything that would have a negative effect on the country based on that nature of thinking.

Speaking about the state of the country, MP Siyaam said that the most fortunate aspect of the country is that it is a 100 percent Muslim country. Although on that fortune is with one other country other than the Maldives, this is the only country where everyone one follows the same doctrine.

And so the MDA Leader Siyaam called to all the citizens to strengthen the faith and stay united as Islam commands.
