Two people arrested in Kondey for aggravated assault

Two people have been arrested in G.A Kondey for attempting an attack with a sharp object.

Police Media Official told Sun Media that once it was reported to the Police that there was going to be an attack, two people from the island were arrested this morning with a court order.

President of the Kondey Island Council, Shiyam Mohamed said that the violence started in a football match last night. And an attack with sharp objects was attempted last night.

He said that the sharp objects in question are two “knife” made out of metal.

Aside from the two arrested this morning, two more people were arrested tonight around 8 p.m. for disobeying Police orders.
