Young man injured in Hithadhoo in an attack with a sharp object

A young man has been injured in an attack with a sharp object in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

Police Media Official said that a young man is being treated at the Hithadhoo Hospital following an attack with a sharp object. No further details on the attack were given by the Police.

“We are investigating it. It was reported at 10:50 p.m. tonight.” The Police Media Official said.

An official from the Hithadhoo Hospital who talked to Sun Media said that the young man has injuries to his head and other parts of his body. And the doctors are tirelessly trying to stitch up the cuts on his body.

“The doctors would decide if his condition is serious or not. Right now they are continuing treatment. He was brought to the hospital with wounds at 10:45.” The official from the hospital said.

A man who spoke from Hithadhoo said that the young man was attacked in his home with a group of people covering their faces.
