Donations are opened for children under the care of the state through ARC

The opportunity has been opened to make donations to the children under the care of the state through Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC).

The donation program named “Ramadan Collection” is run under ARC every year close to the holy month of Ramadan.

ARC says that the program help donate things required for the children at the Vilimale’ orphanage “Kudakudhinge Hiyaa” and the Education and Training Center for Children in Maafushi.

Donations are opened up to 15 June. ARC says that the items being donated must be in usable condition.

- Football Jersey

- Tights/Jeans/Leggings

- Tops/Dresses

- Shawl/Hijab

- Blankets

- Towels

Foods:

- Powdered Milk

- Canned Tuna

- Fruits and Vegetables

Sports:

- Football/Volleyball/Basketball

- Table tennis balls and racket

- Badminton rackets and shuttles

- Playstation and Games
