Theemuge maintenance building assigned for Human Rights Ministry

President’s Office has announced today that Theemuge maintenance building has been designated for the official operation of Ministry of Gender, Family and Human Rights.

President’s Office said that the building was earlier used to operate the Presidential Commission created by former President Mohamed Nasheed. Renovation is underway to prepare the building for Ministry of Gender, Family and Human Rights.

Spokesperson of the President’s Office Abbas Adil Riza said that Civil Service Commission is currently working on employee issues for the Ministry, and that official services will commence after employee issues are settled.
