Four arrested for drug dealing

Four people have been arrested in a guest-house on suspicion of large-scale drug dealing in Hulhumalé.

Police said that the group was arrested under a court order at around 4:00 p.m. yesterday, during an operation by the Drug Enforcement Department.

The suspects are aged 37, 34, 25, and 21.

Drugs, alcohol, and equipment used in drug use were found at the scene of the arrest, and all suspects have criminal record for drug offences, said police.
