Education Minister completes her visit to Thaa. Atoll

Education Minister, Dr. Aishath Shiham has completed her visit to all of the schools of Thaa. Atoll.

The Minister inaugurated the Dhiyamigili Pre-school project on her visit to the island. An official from the Education Ministry said that the project is funded by the Council and the people of the island. It is a school with two classrooms.

The Minister also opened a computer lab in Vandhoo. In her four day visit to the atoll, the Education Minister met with teachers, parent-teacher associations, school boards and managements of the schools in the atoll. Discussions were held to improve the education system in these meetings.

And the Minister shared the Ministry’s projects to create talented students that would benefit the society such as the “Dhasvaaru” program and the newly started “B.Tech” program which was initiated last year. Minister, Dr. Aishath Shiham also shared information on the courses conducted by the TVETA Authority.
