Empty council seat after Dhidhdhoo councilor resigns

The Vice President of Dhidhdhoo council and council member Jauharee Ali has resigned his position today.

Jauharee, who got elected on Adhaalath Party’s ticket, told Sun Media today that he resigned his position to pursue what he studied. He said that he’s got a position as an Imaam and wants to continue in that field.

Jauharee is the only person to be elected to Dhidhdhoo council on Adhaalath Party’s ticket.

There are three members of PPM, two members of MDP and one member of JP on Dhidhdhoo council.
