Serious injuries to minor that drove motorcycle

Serious injuries have been inflicted to a minor that drove a motorcycle and was involved in a traffic collision in Hithadhoo at Addu City.

The Police Information Officer, Ismail Ali told Sun Media this evening that a dangerous traffic collision took place in Hithadhoo at Addu City. And the condition of one of the people involved is serious.

Information Officer Ismail Ali said that the investigation so far has confirmed that one of the motorcycles involved in the collision was driven by a minor.

“The minor did not suffer many external injuries. But the doctors say that the child suffered serious injuries to the head. And the doctors have advised to move the child to Male’.” Ismail Ali said.

The Information Officer said that the other vehicle has two people on it and both suffered minor external injuries.

And that they were now being treated and preparations are being made to move the the minor in serious condition to Male’.
