MP Mahloof transferred to house arrest

Galolhu-South MP Ahmed Mahloof, arrested during a recent protest, has been transferred to house arrest.

Criminal Court decided to transfer him to house arrest when he was taken for the remand hearing today.

The court initially remanded him in police custody for five days, after he was arrested for breaking through barricades during a protest on 25 March.
