Parliament:
Jameela Ali selected as Civil Service Commission member

The Parliament has selected Superintendent of Ministry of Education Jameela Ali of H. White diamond as a member of Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Nine individuals contested for the CSC seat which became vacant when former CSC member Abdullah Jihad was appointed Finance Minister.

Jameela received 55 out of 61 votes at the Parliament today.

Six of the nine contestants were interviewed by the Parliament’s Independent Institutions Committee, in which Jameela scored the highest marks with 85.63 percent.
