Maldivian arrested with drugs in Sri Lanka

A Maldivian man has been arrested with drugs in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan paper Daily Mirror reported that according to police, a Maldivian drug dealer was arrested at a hotel in Dehiwala with 169 grams of heroin yesterday evening.

The suspect is said to have arrived in Sri Lanka on a tourist visa, and was being questioned by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB).

No information related to the man’s identity were available at the time of publication.
