Foreigner attacked again tonight

A foreigner has been attacked again in Male’ tonight.

Police Media Official said that a foreigner’s arm was wounded in an attack near Auto Garage tonight around 7:10 p.m.

He also said that the foreigner is being treated at the IGM hospital and his injuries are not serious.

Attacks on foreign workers have been increased as of late. While two attacks on foreigners have taken place last night in two different locations in Male’, a body of a foreigner was found with attack wounds on Monday in Thoddoo.

And a Bangladeshi waiter working at Lhiyanu Café on the South West Harbor was attacked and killed last Sunday by masked assailants.
