An STO pharmacy was opened at Hulhudheli today by the Vice President of MDA and the MP for Kudahuvadhoo constituents, Ahmed Amir at a special ceremony held in the courtyard of the Island Medical Center.
Speaking at the Ceremony, MP Amir said that a weight has been lifted with the establishment of a government pharmacy in the island. And it marks an end to the travelling to the atoll capital or other islands to acquire medicines.
MP Amir said that it is important to support the government from all the related institutes in the establishment of such services in the isolated islands. And the speed of development would be faster if the elected officials in the islands are willing to work with the government.
He also thanked the Leader of MDA and the MP for Meedhoo constituents, Ahmed Siyam for his effort to develop the islands in his constituency. He also thanked the Island and Atoll Councils along with the people of Hulhudheli for their hard work in the development of the island.
