Khadheeja appointed as PS of Health Ministry

Khadheeja Abdulsamad Abdhulla has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary (PS) of Health Ministry.

While former PS of Health Ministry Geela Ali had been transferred to the Additional Secretary of Foreign Ministry in December 2014, Khadheeja has been appointed as Health Ministry PS on Wednesday, said Civil Service Commission of Maldives.

Khadheeja had been the head of Health Promotion and Non-communicable Diseases of Health Protection Agency before.

According to the Civil Service Commission, Khadheeja, who is serving in Health Sector from 2002 onwards, has done Master’s Degree in Public Health and Health System Development.
