Motorcycle driver who hit pregnant woman arrested

The man who was driving the motorcycle that collided with a pregnant woman who later died due to the injuries, has been arrested.

The 22-year-old man who is presently in police custody, will be taken to court for a remand period hearing later today.

The 37-year-old woman who was six weeks into her pregnancy died this morning while receiving treatment in the ICU at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for the injuries sustained in the accident, which took place on Monday night.
