Nazim arrives at Criminal Court

Former Minister of Defence Mohamed Nazim has been taken to Criminal Court, for the court to determine his period of remand in custody.

Nazim’s lawyer Maumoon Hameed has said that Nazim was arrested on suspicion of possession of weapons and planning anti-government activities.

The case against Nazim was sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office yesterday.
