Former Defense Minister Mohamed Nazim’s case of having dangerous weapons in his apartment, has been sent to Prosecutor General’s (PG) Office for prosecution.

Sun Online has learned that the case has been forwarded to PG on Monday.

Police have raided Nazim’s apartment at around 3:15 a.m. on 17 of last month and Police Commissioner Hussain Waheed has said that they confiscated weapons; a pistol, a magazine, three bullets and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) from the apartment.

Nazim has been dismissed from his post as Minister of Defense after three days of discovering weapons from Nazim’s apartment.
