The Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) has launched a program in collaboration with a Sri Lankan group, on training investment advisors.
Director General of CMDA Mahzoom Saleem told Sun Online that the Maldivian economy is expected to see major growth in the near future, and investment advisors would be in great demand as more people look to invest in securities and funds.
Investment advisors provide expert advice regarding investing in the capital market.
The three-day program will be attended by 30 participants from the local financial sector.
