Detention extended by ten days for father who abused, threatened to kill daughter

A father who sexually abused his daughter and threatened to kill her if she told anyone, has been given ten additional days of detention by the court.

Police said that the 43-year-old man who was arrested yesterday, had been sexually abusing his 16-year-old daughter since she was 9.

To protect the child’s identity, police have not disclosed the island where the arrest was made.
