Monterrey edges Santos Laguna 2-0

MONTERREY, Mexico (AP) — Humberto Suazo scored twice to lift Monterrey to a 2-0 victory over fellow Mexican club Santos Laguna on Wednesday in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League final.

Suazo scored in the 60th and the 86th minutes.
