Petrol price reduced by MVR 1, diesel price by 75 laari per litre

The State Trading Organisation (STO) has reduced the price of petrol by MVR 1 per litre, and the price of diesel by 75 laari per litre.

This means petrol price has gone down from MVR 15.12 per litre to MVR 14.12 per litre, while diesel price has gone down from MVR 14.83 per litre to MVR 14.08 per litre.

Managing Director of STO Adam Azim told Sun Online that the change follows reduction in world oil prices.
