Task Force has said that water will be supplied by MWSC for 24 hours during next three days as well under the effort to resolves water problem in Male’.
Speaking in the press conference held by the Task Force established by the President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom, Defense Minister Mohamed Nazim said that while water is supplied for 24 hours, people of Male’ have to give emphasis on economizing water. Nazim said that water has been started to supply for 24 hours by using a temporary set up.
Nazim advised to change the laundry time on tomorrow as most water is used on Fridays. He added that distribution of water from Defense Vehicles and water produced by the navy ships would be stopped and that those navy ships would be sent back very soon.
Nazim stated that bottled water distributed during water crisis in Male’ by the Security Forces would be started from 10 points of Male’. However, he did not mention when the distribution would start.
