Parliament approves Adam Saeed as PIC Member

The parliament has approved Adam Saeed Moosa as a Member of the Police Integrity Commission (PIC).

Adam Saeed was approved with 62 votes in favour at today’s parliament sitting.

Following the approval of Adam Saeed, the parliament did not vote on Fathimath Minhath, the second candidate approved by the committee.

The remaining members of the five-member commission are Fathimath Sareera Ali (President), Mohamed Farhad (Vice President), Aminath Rukshana Ibrahim, and Ali Nadheem.
