Man dies after dangerous accident in Addu City

A man has died after a dangerous accident in Hithadhoo of Addu City.

Mohamed Athif, 33, died following the accident in which three people suffered injuries.

Police said that Mohamed Athif who was injured in an accident which occurred when two motorcycles collided in front of Maahera Café on the main road of Hithadhoo at around 7:20 p.m. died while he was under treatment in the ICU.

Police said that the other two men who suffered injuries were under treatment at Hithadhoo Regional Hospital and the two motorcycles involved in the accident were also damaged.

Hithadhoo Police Station has started investigating the cause of this accident.
