Mechanism established to donate Islamic Ministry funds through mobile phones

A mechanism has been established to donate to funds of Islamic Ministry via SMS for Oredoo customers.

In a press conference held at Islamic Ministry today, Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed said that money could be donated to three funds of that Ministry from the newly established mechanism. The three funds he mentioned in that regard was “Miskiy fund” (fund for mosques), fund to assist in printing of Mushaf and fund to conduct religious awareness programs.

Maryam Ahmed Didi, Senior Specialist Public Relations of Ooredoo said that customers of oreedoo could make donations through SMS from today onwards.

The code that must be used by Ooredoo customers to donate to funds of Islamic Ministry is “*535#”.
