Child sustains head wound in accident

A child has sustained a head wound in an accident in Hulhumale’ this evening.

A Police official said that the accident occurred at around 18:00, when a motorcycle carrying two people on the north side of Nirolhu magu in Hulhumale’ lost control and hit a seven year old boy who was walking on the street.

The two people on the motorcycle also sustained some injuries; all three are currently being treated at Hulhumale’ Hospital.
