Teacher accused of bullying returns to work

The Ministry of Education has notified the Imaaduddin School grade 3 teacher accused of bullying, to return to work.

Sources have told Sun Online that the teacher resumed work yesterday.

The female teacher was suspended earlier this month in relation to an investigation by the Ministry of Education. The ministry has prepared a report regarding its investigation of this issue.

After the teacher was notified by the ministry to ‘stay at home’ until further notice, the Teachers’ Association said that the teacher had not committed any act deserving suspension.

The issue is also under investigation by the police.

The case has also been filed to the parliament by the parents, and the Parliament Committee on Oversight of the Government is due to discuss the matter later today.
