President meets with SAARC health ministers

President Dr Mohamed Waheed has met with health ministers of SAARC countries today.

The meeting was held at the 4th meeting of SAARC health ministers, which commenced at Paradise Island Resort today.

The President’s Office said that the ministers were briefed on the change of government of Maldives.

Challenges to health sectors in various countries, and ways in which SAARC countries can collaborate in the provision of health services were discussed at today’s meeting.

The new Secretary General of SAARC Ahmed Saleem, Health Minister Ahmed Jamsheed and several cabinet ministers participated in today’s meeting.
