Transport Authority has said that seaplane services between Male’ and several other atolls will commence soon.

Transport Authority said that discussions in this regard are underway; and the first services will begin to R. Alifushi and Sh. Fonadhoo in the north, and M. Muli and Dh. Kudahuvadhoo in the south.

Discussions have taken place to commence services to K. Kaashidhoo and K. Gaafaru as well.

The Ministry said that this decision was made because people of other islands find it hard to travel to Male’.
