Siyam Mohamed elected as President of Kondey Council

Siyam Mohamed, elected to Gaafu Alifu Kondey Council on the ticket of Adhaalath Party, has been elected as the President of the Council.

Assistant Director of Kondey Council Mohamed Zuhair told Sun that Siyam was elected to this position with votes from three members. Including Siyam, the council now has four members.

The position of vice president was also contested by one candidate, but the position remains vacant after the candidate failed to garner the required number of votes.
