Man detained in Dhoonidhoo hangs himself

A man detained in Dhoonidhoo by Police has died by hanging himself.

Police said that he was an Indian national detained for the investigation of an assault incident between several nurses of IGM Hospital and their husbands on 30 March.

IGM Hospital said that the man was transported to the hospital at around 19:30. Sun is informed that the man was already dead when he reached the hospital, and that there were no injuries on his body.
