One year old boy falls from second storey in Male'

A one-year three-month old boy suffered serious injuries tonight after falling from the second storey of a building in Henveyru Hadheebee Magu, Male’.

The child, a boy from a Gaafu Dhaalu Dhevvadhoo family, fell to the street after slipping from a sofa that was placed near a sitting room window. The child is being treated at ADK Hospital.

Ahmed Afaal, Managing Director at ADK Hospital said, “The latest information said doctors have started treating the boy. It is difficult for me to say his exact injuries because all diagnoses have not been made. I can give more information after treatment is complete and when I get the reports.”
