Group assaulted on a street in Male

A group of masked individuals on motorcycles has stabbed and assaulted three men on a street in Machangoalhi, Male' tonight. The assault took place in Dhidhi Goalhi, an alleyway in front of Iskandhar School. The victims were bleeding heavily when they were taken away to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), a witness told Sun Online. Police have cordoned off the scene. An official from IGMH said that two men were brought to the hospital with stab and assault injuries moments ago, and that one of the victims has been taken to the operation theatre while the other is being treated inside a procedure room.
