Gan murder victim

The family of Ahmed Nizar, who was killed by a group in Laamu Gan in July last year, has expressed concern over the delay in the court case against Nizar’s murderers.

The victim’s father told Sun Online that he is gravely concerned over the court proceedings.

“How long has it been since the case was filed with the Criminal Court? The hearing for defendants to respond to evidence has not been held. I am very concerned over the way Criminal Court is handling the case. I call upon the court to act differently, to conclude the case as soon as possible,” said Nizar’s farther.

Ahmed Nizar, from Woodland, Thundi, Laamu Gan, was found dead around 2:23 a.m. on 15 July 2013 on Sinaaee Magu in Laamu Gan. Police discovered wooden planks and iron rods to attack near Nizar’s body, which they said used in the attack.

Three suspects; Ahmed Shujau, 22; Ahmed Sobah, 23; and Hussain Sobir, 22, have been charged with terrorism for the murder of Nizar. All three individuals have denied the charges.
