The group of 50 pilgrims who departed through Hajj Corporation to Saudi Arabia for this year's Ramadan Umrah pilgrimage on 14 July, has returned back to Maldives today.
Yameen Idhrees, Hajj Corporation’s Managing Director told Sun Online that the pilgrims landed at the airport around 8:00 a.m. this morning.
This year’s Umrah group was comprised of 16 women and 34 men, including 4 assistants. Hajj Corporation charges each pilgrim MVR 34,850 for the trip.
The group was accommodated in Al Barakah Hotel in Mecca, located about a 5-minute walk away from Masjid al-Haram.
