BML, MIB account details for Gaza fund Maldives announced

Adhaalath Party has opened Dollar and Rufiyaa accounts in Bank of Maldives (BML) and Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) for the Gaza fund Maldives effort, a fund raising initiative to collect relief aid for the Muslims effected by Israeli aggression in Gaza.

Spokesperson of Adhaalath Party Ali Zahir told Sun Online that the accounts in BML and MIB are under the name “Gaza fund Maldives”. The account numbers are;

MIB Rufiyaa account: 9901 55500001 101

MIB Dollar account: 9901 55500001 201

BML Rufiyaa account: 7701 270697 002

BML Dollar account: 7701 270697 003

The Gaza fund Maldives has received MVR 814,276 ($53,185) and a little over $2500 within the four days since it was opened on Thursday, Ali Zahir said.

Fund-collection boxes have been placed in various locations around the capital including Hulhumale’, Velaanaage, Artificial Beach, Tsunami Monument, Local Market, Islamic Centre, Furqan Mosque, Adhaalath Party Office, in addition to Red Wave Mall and Red Wave Plaza.

The Qatar Red Crescent has agreed to deliver the funds to the people of Gaza in the form of food and medical equipment.
