IGMH to stop converting private prescriptions

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has said that it will stop converting prescriptions from private clinics starting August this year.

The practice of converting prescriptions from private clinics to IGMH prescriptions enables patients to get universal healthcare scheme 'Assandha' coverage for recommendations obtained from private clinics.

The move by IGMH follows preprations by the government to extend Aasandha coverage to private clinics.
