Maldivian Umrah pilgrim dies

A 54-year-old Maldivian pilgrim on Umrah has passed away in Saudi Arabia.

An official from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs told Sun Online that the man - a resident of Baa Eydhafushi who went on the pilgrimage through Sisilfaru Hajj and Umrah Group - died on Tuesday night.

The man's funeral was held in Mecca on Wednesday.
