National Security Council holds meeting

The National Security Council has held a meeting at the President’s Office today.

The meeting was chaired by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

The discussion was focused on ensuring peace an order, and security in the country.

The National Security Council was established under Article 13 (a) of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Act, to advise the President on matters related to national security.
