Tourist missing while snorkelling, found dead

A 33-year-old French tourist who went missing while snorkelling off the coast of Filitheyo Island Resort in Faafu Atoll on Wednesday has been found dead by the authorities today.

Police said the man was located approximately 30 meters deep off the north-eastern side the island, around 9:00 a.m. The body has been recovered and transported to Filitheyo Island Resort.
