Addu City councillor dies from heart attack

Addu City councillor representing Feydhoo constituency Abdulla Aswan passed away late last night after suffering from a heart attack.

Addu City Mayor Abdulla Sodiq told Sun Online that Aswan suffered the heart attack at his home around 3:00 a.m. last night. He was transported to Feydhoo Health Centre, but was pronounced dead upon arrival, Sodiq said.

Abdulla Aswan’s funeral is scheduled for after Zuhur prayer today.
