Dead body found in sea near Thin Ruh Park

The dead body of a man was discovered floating in the sea near Thin Ruh Park on the south-western side of Male’ around noon today.

The body, which showed signs of decomposition, was retrieved from the water by Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) and police officers, and transported to Aasahara, the current cemetery in Male’.
