BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Barcelona says it will sign Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to a four-year contract after reaching a transfer agreement with Real Sociedad.
Neither Spanish club elaborated on the deal.
Barcelona says Bravo will "share" goalkeeping duties with fellow new arrival Marc-Andre ter Stegen in place of the departed Victor Valdes.
The 31-year-old Bravo is captain of his national team and playing in the World Cup in Brazil.
Bravo spent eight seasons at Sociedad after starting his career at Chilean club Colo-Colo.
He will join countryman Alexis Sanchez at Barcelona.
